OpenHIE has formed a privacy and security working group to see how we best provide information and guidance on these topics that are important for the human rights of patients. (see details to join in here) To that end, we are trying to frame how we (OpenHIE) best support the community.
Here are some ideas around the framing for how we initially approach privacy and security. I invite you to iterate and fine tune one of these ideas or add a new potential way to frame this work. We can use this as a starting point for our next conversation.
