Hi all,
On behalf of the SHR community and contributing developers (particularly Justin from ecGroup/Medic lab), the Jembi developer team is proud to present the first version of the packaged OpenSHR. This provides a great way to get started with the OpenSHR tool easily. This release also includes support for on-demand document generation along with all the other features that make up a Shared Health Record for OpenHIE. For more details on getting started with the OpenSHR see https://github.com/jembi/openshr
For this release we have bundled OpenMRS with all of the modules that allow it to act as an XDS.b repository, a discrete data store and an on-demand document generator with a modified version of OpenXDS with acts as an XDS.b registry that supports the registration of on-demand documents. These are all bundled together and can be installed easy using a debian package. Installation should be as easy as the executing the following 4 command from an Ubuntu system:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/java
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:openhie/release
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install openshr
To support on-demand documents in the XDS.b registry Jembi has forked the original OpenXDS source code to github and we have built a new version that now supports the registration of on-demand documents in the registry. The repository can be found here: https://github.com/jembi/openxds
Thanks all for you contributions to getting us this far.
Cheers,
Ryan
