OpenHIE DevOps Subcommunity Pause

The OpenHIE DevOps subcommunity calls will be removed from calendars starting on April 1, 2024. The DevOps team will no longer be meeting on a monthly basis instead DevOps topics will be covered during other relevant OpenHIE subcommunity calls.

The last DevOps call was hosted in February & we heard interests in topics around integration, demonstrating OpenHIE concepts, & supporting implementer use. This call served the purpose to gauge interest in topics, but also to see if there was a need to continue the DevOps calls in 2024 due to overlap with other OHIE forums.

After reviewing the topics brought up on the call the OpenHIE Secretariat came to the conclusion to pause DevOps calls for the unforeseeable future & bring topics into A&S calls or other forums like the implementers network (OHIN) & subcommunity calls (ex. IOL) as necessary.

The following call topics are being prepared for community discussion:

  • Architecture & Standards Subcommunity:
    • CQL: How does CQL fit into end-to-end software lifecycle development?
    • Central Data Repository
  • OpenHIE Implemeters Network (OHIN): What is HIE?
  • Interoperability Layer Subcommunity: Implementing IOL and support process

The Argusoft team will plan to continue joining Architecture & Standards subcommunity calls in order to share & bring questions to the community.

We would love to hear any thoughts community members have on any of the matters above & are happy to answer any additional questions / concerns people may have.
