OpenHIE components for the Implementers Meeting

Good morning all (assuming all community leads are in this forum)

As we are now on the final stretch to get to the OpenHIE community meeting and we need to solidify the componentry that is going to be available at the connectathon/hackathon I have an urgent ask of the community.

Simply put: we would like a demonstration version and or sandbox version of each of the reference technologies present at the event for the community to be able to beat against.

Can each of the communities commit to being able to do this?

IOL - YES we will have the OpenHIM there

SHR - NO, reference technology is out of date and under review – open to new candidates.

Hi Carl – I think we’re going to need an ILR; for a number of our key OpenHIE workflows, the IOL hits the ILR (but not, at least directly, the underlying facility and health worker directories. Do we know if our IntraHealth teammates will be there with an OpenInfoMan?
Also… as an idea… might it be possible to perhaps build on top of a DATIM4U stack? A DATIM4U instance would give us an IOL, HMIS and InfoMan in one shot – and we could then perhaps add in the other puzzle pieces (CR and SHR, etc.) to this. I’m suggesting this because I know we’ll have strong RI contingent at the conference and they have expertise with this stack. Just a thought…
Warmest regards,

Derek

At IntraHealth we are working towards the best approach for providing sandboxes for the Implementers Meeting and will provide OpenInfoMan and iHRIS but happy to take suggestions on other products too.

Best,
