OpenHIE Architecture Call - Monday, May 14 at 10:00 a.m. EDT

We are having our
OpenHIE Architecture
call this Monday, May 14 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time.

Agenda

  1. Feedback from Supply Chain Community: “It seems that the bottom of the OHIE diagram is very “place” oriented. Do we want to make it more clear that it is Point-of-care SYSTEMS
that are being talked about and not just places like hospital and lab.”

·
Goal: Hear the feedback and determine if we need to change the diagram to be more clear

  1. RE product registry - How does this health information fit into the OHIE diagram?

·
Goal: Begin a group discussion on how products fit into the diagram

·

  • It is just a look up for product names and code?, if so, we can use terminology service. Is it important to curate more information about the prodcts? If so, then we need a registry that is separate.
  • do we have examples in if / how implementers are doing this?
  1. Next steps for framing the architecture component requirements

  2. Brainstorm list of topics to cover face-to- face

·
Goal: If we are able to secure time for discussion in Arusha, what topics do we need to cover?
