OpenHIE 101: Session 3 - Overview of Client Registry Component

Hi All,

We will be hosting another community call focused on providing an overview of the Client Registry component of OpenHIE’s architecture on Friday, March 22 @11:30am EDT . This session
is a follow up from our previous sessions held on;

  • January 28 focused on OpenHIE’s creation and what the community does, recording and notes from our first session can be found here.

  • February 28 focused on OpenHIE architecture and workflows, recording and notes from our first session can be found here.

We invite new and old members of the OpenHIE community to join these calls. Come introduce yourself, bring questions and/or tell us what you want/need to know.

During our next session on****Friday, March 22 @11:30am EDT we’ll be looking closer at OpenHIE’s Client Registry component….

  • Overview

  • Main features (ie. patient matching, visualization of facilities, etc.)

  • What standards component support

  • What exemplar technologies are available for your component

  • What are some key implementations to learn from or what key implementations are in progress (contacts if you have them, examples, high-level use cases)

  • What are the hot issues or concerns for the community and why
