OHIM installation ubuntu 14.04

Hello,

when installing openHIM on ubuntu 14.04 it was requested for me to provide an TLS certificate to secure my server so i tried letsencrypt and it required a functioning domain.

so i need your help with this domain. what should i do ??

Thank you in advance.

Hi Sabri,

Is this just a test instance? If so it’s ok to just use the default value, in this case a default self signed certificate will be used.

Cheers,

Ryan

Hi Sabri

For the OpenHIM implementation that you are referring too, was this done on your local computer or on a server that has a domain? I dont think Letsencrypt will not work unless you have a domain. You can create a self signed certificate through the OpenHIM once installed
