OHIE Metadata Clearinghouse description for your review

Hi all,
Looking at the notes, I noticed that there was some discussion related to using a TS for the geographic hierarchy. Luke can confirm and provide details, but I believe that IHE’s mCSD standard already address this by using the ‘partOf’ data field in the HL7 FHIR location resource:

There may still be some open questions related to this that came out of public comment for mCSD and which can be resolved before it goes into trial publication, so it would be good to hear any concerns with this approach.

Hi all,

I took a first stab at defining what we mean by an OpenHIE metadata clearinghouse for PEPFAR and would welcome your feedback by end of day Friday. You can leave your comments directly in the gdoc or respond to this email. We plan to spend a few minutes discussing this on the June 26 OHIE Leadership call.

For those who were not on the call, PEPFAR has asked OpenHIE to serve as a “clearinghouse” for metadata that they maintain, such as the PAPFAR Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting Indicators. Our first step is to come to agreement on what it means to serve as a clearinghouse, which is what this document starts to do here:

Also, here are the notes from our OHIE-TS call yesterday:
