The ITI Committee has opened public comment for the Mobile Care Services Discovery Profile (mCSD) now until June 16, 2017. To simplify the review of the
mCSD Profile , please use the Public Comment Guide attached to expedite your review. This guide will provide a quick overview of the mCSD Profile and save you time by directing you to the key sections that warrant
your attention as technical expert or implementer. It also includes instructions on how to
submit public comment online before the deadline on June 16, 2017.
Goal of the mCSD
Profile
The Mobile Care Services Discovery (mCSD) Profile supports discovery of care services resources using a RESTful interface in interrelated, federated environments. The profile uses a loosely-coupled design and flexible querying capability,
so that it can be deployed within a number of eHealth architectures and support a wide array of care workflows and supports querying for: Organizations, Locations, Practitioners, and Healthcare Services.
