Following up our discussion of CTS2 and its level of use/adoption – here is a description of (I think) Jack’s Danish example:

It would appear that CTS2 was the terminology exchange specification mandated for the European epSOS project. That would certainly explain its uptake within EU countries.
There also was a fairly recent podcast re: CTS2 in the US published on the HIMSS website. It can be found here (see half way down the page, Episode #3):
