ILR/Health Worker Registry call today cancelled.

Dear Community,

The ILR/Health Worker Registry call today will be cancelled.

Best regards,

Richard

Dear Scott, Richard –

The AeHIN community has been looking at the OpenHIE framework as our reference framework for interoperability.

Is there any way we can help the facility registry team so we can learn how the facility registry component work?

We can gather volunteers from our network and help out but we need guidance on directions re FR –

Hi Alvin,

Great to hear from you. It would be awesome for the AeHIN community to help contribute to the future success of the facility registry community. The best way to do that is through joining the meetings, sharing updates or challenges through the community forum, or working with implementers to:

  1. Identifying ongoing challenges around GIS/Facility data and associated services
  2. Reviewing existing FR tools and infrastructure
  3. Helping to identify gaps or other shortcomings and then working with us to find potential solutions
Hope this helps, thanks for reaching.

Best,

Scott

PS . The team at RTI (Martin and Rita) will be helping organize meetings moving forward. Im sure they would love to connect with the AeHIN team provide inputs to future meeting agendas and also to learn from your perspectives as well.

Thanks Scott. Willing to participate. I just asked the question because the meetings kept getting postponed. If we could create a system where the meetings will push through even if some are not available, we can create and nurture the community.

Just to start the ball rolling: the Philippine MOH currently maintains the National Health Facility Registry (nhfr.doh.gov.ph)…

It would be good to understand the proposed future state of the FR community (and its benefits) and guide the MOH on the cost of transitioning and it’s cost-benefit analysis.

Hi Alvin,

Your timing is perfect actually as Martin and Rita plan to host a Facility Registry Community (OHIE-FR) call this week (Thursday, September 19 @11am EDT / 11pm PST). Would be great if you could join as the plan is to talk about the direction
of facility registry and the cadence of the calls with the team as well.

I know this is late for you so there may be the potential to move the call up too, not sure.
