I am a healthcare :woman_health_worker: professional and educator passionate about preparing the next generation of medical practitioners for the complexities of modern healthcare. Given the rapid advancements in technology and the increasing reliance on data-driven decision-making, I believe that integrating health informatics into medical training is imperative.

By equipping future physicians with a solid foundation in health informatics, we can significantly enhance patient care, optimize healthcare delivery, and drive innovation. Specifically, this integration can:

  • Improve patient outcomes: By fostering a data-driven approach to care, we can enable physicians to make more informed decisions, leading to better patient outcomes.
  • Enhance efficiency: Proficiency in electronic health records (EHRs) and health information exchange can streamline workflows and reduce administrative burdens.
