Facility Registry Community Meeting - March 29th

Hi All,

Our facility registry community has a meeting tomorrow March 29th @11am ET. We hope that you can make it.

We have the pleasure of Mark Herringer from Healthsites.io sharing about their work to build a global commons of health facility data by making OpenStreetMap useful to the medical community and humanitarian sector. This open data approach invites organisations to share health facility data and collaborate to establish an accessible global baseline of health facility data. Understanding the health capacity of a region is a vital asset in times of emergency and for managing disease outbreaks.

Healthsites community is focused on three key things:

  • Enabling national health agencies and organisations to share and contribute data to OpenStreetMap

  • Enable collaboration between national health agencies and volunteer communities

  • Connecting multiple data streams to build higher quality data
Come, learn more and ask questions about how this might be helpful for your programs or partners.

  • Scott
