How do we best get country representation involved; who, when & how. We should definitely have that discussion when we get together next!

Fredrik, sounds good. I think the key is to get the work focused on actual, country-identified needs ASAP… so that we’re acting against real needs and not perceived ones. That’s IMO, one of the only dangers of developing use cases and
persona without country representation.
In the short term… Ed, Matt, and Bob are important stakeholders that can serve as country “proxies.”

Hi Lorrine,
I am not completely sure who are all registered in the googlegroups above, but we should make sure that Justin Fyfe and Ted Scott from Mohawk College,
Jorn Braa (jbraa@ifi.uio.no) and Bob Joliffe (bobjolliffe@gmail.com) from DHIS as well as Eduardo Jezierski from
InSTEDD are invited as well. I will send them this and encourage them to sign up for the group. (I am not quite sure how to list the names of all members in the group)
I had a good discussion with Matt & Justin earlier today and we agreed if may be good to spend some time to discuss/brainstorm on the following topics:
-
Use cases (for the Facility Registry Service itself as well as what we envision ‘client applications’ ought to be able to do interfacing with the Registry Service)
-
Personas: Who/what type of users will be using the Facility Registry Service and what levels if permissions would need to be established for various roles
-
Scope boundaries between the “Service” and “Clients” (what sample/illustrative “clients” do we plan on developing as part of this project); this was touched on in the last meeting and I am sure there may be some additional
thinking on this to be shared.
-
Further review on progress on APIs
All the best,
Fredrik
