Hi all – can I ask if it is worthwhile to propose a set of 2 or 3 ADX content profiles that would directly leverage the DHIS2 metadata project that Knut et al have developed for WHO? Basically… this project would be to use Bob’s scripts to generate these schema from the DHIS2 representations that have already been developed. This would be a purely technical undertaking… we wouldn’t second guess the metadata work. We’d accept the WHO collaboration at face value and generate DHIS2 -> ADX using our existing tools.
We talked about this as a natural next step – and as I learned in preparing for the IPDLN Banff workshop, it is a very approachable/doable technical task to accomplish it. Do we want to do it during this cycle?
