Wednesday 30 August

8-9:30 am EST | 12-1:30 pm UTC | 1-2:30 pm WAT | 2-3:30 pm SAST | 3-4:30 pm EAT

This 90 minute community meeting will look at key steps for designing & implementing an effective approach for matching person-level records within & across health related datasets.

It is intended for health IT systems managers, developers, data analysts, & program implementers with the objectives to describe the key phases in the patient matching process & the specific actions in each phase.

Subject matter experts, Dr. Shaun Grannis & Dr. Toan Ong, will walk through the phases of this approach & ask the Community to provide input based on their experience to validate, enrich, & improve the usefulness of the approach. With the community input, this approach will be refined over time & will serve as a shared knowledge base for patient matching activities.

Session goals include:

  • Share the matching module draft with the Community.
  • Gather Community input and feedback.
