ANNOUNCEMENT: Changing the format of OpenHIE Community calls

We are happy to announce OpenHIE is transitioning our monthly community call, every fourth Monday from 10-11am Eastern Time, into an implementers call. We hope to create a space for OpenHIE Implementers to learn and share with one another.

The OpenHIE community recently started an OpenHIE Implementers Network (OHIN) as a forum for countries and implementers to discuss questions, problems and ideas unique to implementing OpenHIE. OHIN aims to support three identified user groups:

  • Country implementers of OpenHIE
  • Health service and system domain experts interested in understanding and enriching the value of OpenHIE for their domain
  • Developers wanting to adopt and implement OpenHIE standards.

If this is of interest, we strongly encourage people to subscribe to the OHIN and then post any questions or agenda topics to the OHIN mailing list. (need to subscribe first before posting)

**Not on the OHIN mailing list? **No problem. Just use the mail link below to “Subscribe" and then the “Post" link to start contributing to the group.

Once you join feel free to introduce yourself and describe your interest in OpenHIE to the group. The OHIN team would be grateful for any feedback, contributions or suggestions that you might have.

Please forward this to anyone else you think may be interested.
