Hi all! A quick reminder about the upcoming Lab Information Systems COP call TOMORROW Thursday Feb 16 at 11am US EST!
We will continue the work on the design for the decoupled analyzer interface system (DAIS) which aims to provide a middleware that can connect to the various lab equipment, and output the results from them in FHIR/
We will discuss the use cases, and start on some high level system requirements, and then dive into design, including UI / UX for the rest of our time. We are aiming to develop these specification over the next 3-4 meetings, and then apply for funding to make the software a reality.
For the next meeting we will be focused on the desired capabilities and user stories, so no technical knowledge is needed, just knowledge of what lab staff need or ideas for UI/UX in order for the DIAS to be useful.
