After more than two decades in data engineering, mostly working with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, I’ve found my passion project: improving the foundational data that determine government healthcare policy decisions.
No matter how sexy the analysis tools at the end of the data pipeline, initial data quality will make or break the analytic insights.
So I’m all in on helping improve the quality of claims data for Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries via open and free frameworks, standards, best practices, and whatever other Digital Public Goods can be used and contributed back to for better healthcare decisions across the world.
