Topics for future OpenHIE Architecture and Standards Workgroup

Hi, I’ve spoken with a few of you about this, this morning, and I know there’s a lot of pent up interest in this, so:

Do you have a specific question about how the underlying architecture of OpenHIE will meet the specific needs of your community?

Do you have a question about underlying standards that might relate to your work?

The OpenHIE “Architecture and Standards” workgroup is the place to discuss this.

How to be a good citizen:

  1. Pose the question to this mailing list, and we’ll make sure to stimulate a conversation there.

  2. If the topic is better served by a group real-time conversation, suggest it and we’ll add it as an agenda to a future call (information about the call here: https://wiki.ohie.org/display/resources/OpenHIE+Architecture+Call)

Place to add your suggestions: http://notes.ohie.org/architecture-agenda-planning

I’d ideally like to get the next 3-4 months of calls lined up to give people time to prepare and to understand the amount of demand for this. Take a look at the document I linked to, give us comments, and then I’ll work to lay out a strawman schedule.

Thanks,

-Paul

Hi All,

It appears some topic requests, like Chris Ford’s on compatible deployment technology, may be missing from the architecture agenda list that was created for
proposed call topics. So just a reminder if you have an architecture topic you would like to discuss here is the best way to make that happen;

Pose the question to this mailing list, and we’ll make sure to stimulate a conversation there.

If the topic is better served by a group real-time conversation, place your suggestion here:
http://notes.ohie.org/architecture-agenda-planning the suggestion will then be add as a future agenda items.

The next call will be on October 14th for information about the calls go here:
https://wiki.ohie.org/display/resources/OpenHIE+Architecture+Call)

Any questions or concerns just email me
