Terminology Services Community - Response Requested

Good evening, the Terminology Services Community would like to get your input on content for your developing Implementation Guide. Please review the first draft of our Reference Terminology Appendix. The objective is to give readers of the Planning and Implementation Guide an introduction to existing (international) Reference Terminologies (RTs).

Follow this link to the document, https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B5CkylMxEtv4TWFFY1hlTGlfZDA/edit, please add responses via the comment feature in Google Docs.

Some questions we’d like you to consider:

  1. The first column is intended to be a list of clinical data contexts, or potential OHIE use-case areas, to which data standardization is appropriate. Please review this list for completeness.
  2. Please review the list of RTs associated with each of the clinical contexts. (We may eliminate the Reference/Administrative distinction.)
  3. We would like to include a list of reference URLs (or other authority “pointers”) for each of the RTs. Please contribute those of which you are aware.

See request below, we will discuss on out bi-weekly call July 2 at 9am. Please take a few minutes to review the document and add comments. Thank you.
