In the past, The OpenHIE @arch_review_board has met during the annual community meeting to reflect on the past and imagine the future. Due to the current health crisis, the team will host a virtual summit to accomplish these goals!

Whether you are a part of this group, or participate in OHIE in other ways – you are welcome to attend any or all of this event!

Summit Goal: Set Stakes in the ground for the future of health information exchange and plan for the best ways to support implementers in 2021 and beyond.

This is an open meeting where we plan to hear different voices provide input on how we can structure the OpenHIE Architecture artifacts to meet implementer needs. We plan to have discussion that will help us generate these expected deliverables:

  1. Input required to create a 2021 OpenHIE Architecture Community Roadmap
  2. Ways to support implementers and tool developers and get their feedback
  3. Next steps on our testing strategy and tooling
  4. Next steps for continuing to promote FHIR and other standards
  5. Topics to address in 2021 OpenHIE Architecture Discussions
