A reminder that we will be having the OpenHIE Academy Subcommunity call Wednesday, October 14 at 9:30 a.m. EDT.

Agenda:

  1. Determine content reviewers and people who will be recording content (April/Michelle)
  2. Review Academy Tool - https://academy.ohie.org/ (Clint)
    – Currrently populated with Dummy content
  3. Process
    –Where to place recordings - Link to Google Drive folder
    – Process for uploading recordings
    – Adding text (closed captioning to a recording)
    – Adding links or references
  4. Rollout goal and planning
    – Do we want to do a soft rollout with the first course?
    – Need to put “coming soon” on courses not ready?
    – When should we plan a full announcement and rollout?
    – what courses should be ready in order to do this?

Starting in November, calls will take place on the second Thursday of each month at 1 p.m. UTC. This means that people joining from countries which observe daylight saving time, call times will shift to one hour later once daylight saving time starts again in March 2021.
