Configuring the IOL to consume XDS messages

Hello,

We are trying to configure the OpenHIM to consume XDS messages. We have a channel that was set up by the xds mediator automatically. Are other channels required to process the XDS message, persist the message in the XDS repo, and store the associated discreet data in SHR[openmrs]?

What is the order of communication between the different components? OpenHIM -> xds mediator -> cda handler module -> openxds ?

Thanks,

Ryan Yates

Hi Ryan,

Yup, that is correct. You should just be able to use the channel that it creates (perhaps with some modifications to IP addresses/hostnames). That order that you have is pretty much correct, just a small correction:

OpenHIM → xds mediator → xds repository module ->(internally) cda handler module → openxds (acting as an xds registry)

Cheers,

Ryan
